Alex Dorpenberger was recently hired as a teacher in MovietownEducation. After the announcement of a teacher conference in Filmville, most of the teachers travel to the town, in order to attend, leaving Alex to teach the children by himself, much to his dismay. During the classes, he meets a couple of Irish immigrant children and takes interest in them, and their conflict with the children of the Oblong family, caused by a few insensitive comments, towards the Irish, by their father Bob.
